Mr. Mark Dei - General Manager |

Mr. Mark Dei is the son of the founders of Deks Educational Institute. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and became a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in December 2005, and therefore brings a vast experience in Finance and Administration to Deks. He worked in financial managerial roles in large multinational companies such as: Ford Motors PLC, Shell UK, and Save the Children Fund. Before he joined Deks School, his last position in the UK was the Head of Finance for the Barnet Sector of the Barnet Enfield and Harringey Health NHS Trust, where he was responsible for a budget of over 30 million pounds. Mr. Mark Dei is the current General Manager of Deks, and is also a member of The Institute of Directors – Ghana. He holds a professional diploma in Corporate Governance. He is a Rotarian and a past president for the Rotary Club of of Tema. He is married with two children.

Mrs. Conliffe-Yakung - Headmistress |

Mrs. Conliffe-Yakung is the daughter of the founders of Deks Educational Institute. She is a professional graduate teacher, she pursued degree and diploma courses at the University of Cape Coast. She has an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon and presently is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultant (CIAMC). Since 1996, she has been a philanthropist who has sponsored the education of several people through O/L, A/L, SHS, HND, BSC. B.A degrees and also donated a set of computers to the Peki-Avetile E.P Basic School in May, 2009. For the contributions made to society in the areas of education, management and human resource training, the ‘Order of Chemu’ was awarded to her at the 23rd Speech and Prize Giving Day of Chemu Secondary School in October, 2005. In 2010 she was also honoured with the “Tema Excellence Award” for her contribution to the education of the girl child. Mrs. Sonia Conliffe-Yakung is the current Headmistress of Deks. She is married with two children. |
